LUNA Story
A Celebration of Heritage and Elegance
The wedding typically begins with a Lap Chai (betrothal ceremony), followed by the Chia Sia (bridal procession) and the Tee Thye (tea ceremony), where the couple honors their elders. A highlight of the celebration is the bride’s stunning Nyonya kebaya, adorned with hand-sewn embroidery and paired with elaborate gold jewelry.
A Beautiful Fusion of Cultures
Chinese-Malay mixed marriages, often known as Peranakan or Baba-Nyonya unions, represent a harmonious blend of two rich cultures, combining Chinese traditions with Malay influences. These marriages celebrate diversity, unity, and the beauty of cultural exchange.
